Advertising Age’s Cannes Cover Contest

Young creatives (under 30) from everywhere in the world were invited to design a cover for Ad Age’s Cannes Issue.
The Brief: Stretch your imagination, and design a cover that you believe captures the meaning of creativity in 2015.
Team: myself (Art Director & Illustrator), Ryan Besch (Copywriter)
SolutionAs attention spans continue to dwindle, savvy brands are wrapping their messaging within laughs, gasps, and tearjerkers. To a world more averse to advertising than ever, entertainment is the ticket.

BU Concert Poster Design

Task: Promote an upcoming BU choral concert
Insight: The venue is an old church, yet the group performing is made up of young, innovative students. How can I visually communicate a hip event at an older, conservative venue?
Solution:  Use bold colors and geometric shapes to represent the young, vibrant performers.
