Sarah Mosser graduates with a degree specializing in advertising and with a minor in art history and visual arts. When she’s not running through the streets of Boston with the D1 track team she captains, she’s absorbed in advertising. Last summer, she interned at an ad agency in Dublin, Ireland, where she mastered the art of slagging amid print ads and radio spots. As a senior, she was an art supervisor in AdLab, and a teacher’s assistant to a design and new media course. She was also a creative member on BU’s National Student Advertising Competition team, which has advanced to the national competition after placing first in the region. Her work has been on display, including this year’s Community Benefit Ball poster she co-designed, and a wall mural she produced sophomore year that’s still hanging in the Writing Center. Aside from her creative interests, she has volunteered with Student Food Rescue and been a member of the InterVarsity Athlete Chapter since freshman year. After four years, she can’t get enough of Boston. She’ll be leaving home in Buffalo, NY once again to attend graduate school at BU, working towards a masters degree in graphic design. Look out for Mosser as this year’s COM commencement speaker!
